180,000 mile scheduled service

looking at my repair manual....the ford expedition only goes to a 60,000 mile schedule. so my input would be that the dealer will run a computer check which is $95 minimum and go from there. They will also run a drivetrain check and performance check. they will probably check for leaks, serpentine belt wear, front end and brake issues etc..basically everything and anything you ask for. i usually do all my own preventative maintenance. if they try to tell you something is wrong and you have not had any problems i would get a second opinion from a reputable garage before i would let the clowns start dismantling your vehicle.

System Slowdown

You may not like the advice I am about to give but in my honest opinion either got to windows XP or wait for windows 7 due anytime.

Other than that you may wish to use add remove programs to remove any that you no longer use.

Remove any un wanted or in many cases un-needed tool-bars.

A good clean up may help you out considerably.

Depending on how much ram you already have then maybe extra ram would also be of benefit.

Vista is a known resource hog I have yet to actually recommend it to anyone and still advise people to stick to XP.

As a Microsoft beta tester I can however recommend Windows 7.

It does make Vista look slow and anyone who has used vista will notice the difference in speed but not too much in use.

It is what Vista should have been.
