We will approach the problem this way 1) your battery might be the culprit , first charge your battery in a different piece, and then replace ans see. 2) if the above doesnt solve the problem clean the connectors of the battery that shiny golden part of both your battery and mobile piece , with nail p[olish remover or alcohol. 3) last resort now will have to open the piece and check for the on/off switch . 4)lastly software reflashing, but if the piece aint detecting, need to clean the datacable connectors with nail polish remover or alcohol.

As if your using sony ericsson K800i some mobile phones as this problem as myself also faced the same problem sony ericsson mobile shows this error if you charge your mobile using connector or unsupported charges.You visit your nearest service center of sony ericsson and ask then to give branded sony ercsson charger for your mobile.After taking that charger you will not face this problem any more..your mobile is just perfect as new.Your connector or charger is having some problem with it. Charger may cost you around 300 rs.

If you have bought new battery, and still not working. You can consider that the faulty is in the charger adapter. You can bring your phone to a service center to further check the charger and/or the circuitry of your unit.
Since you've got a new charging unit, you may need to try using different battery. If same problem occurs, then plug the charger to the phone and slowly wiggle the charger to see if the power jack is loose.
If everything looks okay, then there's a loose connection inside or a bad IC that needs to be replaced. And you may need to contact the manufacturer for repair.
This issue can be resolved only by the sony ericsson service center. As it needs to do flash on the handset. This issue can be resolved by themselves as sony ericsson only has the solution software with them.
