hi, better u purchase an universal remote, and program it for ur tv.philips magnavox universal remote can be used to control ur tv by entering any one of the following code
1.Turn on the TV you want to program and press the "Code Search"
button on the remote control until the indicator light turns on.
2.Push the TV button on the remote control that corresponds to the TV you want to program.
3. Aim the remote control at the TV and press the "Channel Up" button
slowly and repeatedly until the TV responds. 4. Store the code by pressing the "Mute" button.
Change batteries,clean the front tv sensor light,and on the remote.All this done,still not working ur remote is dead.Try 1-800-Romotes Factory original.Buy an exact remote.
