Victor cga 540 oxy reg. hi side 2000. lo side climbs to max and pop off releases. can adj for short then climbs and releases at pop off

take it to the nearest weld shop, its defective, gages, do one thing, keep pressure where you put it, there is a spring inside and it can get weak by leaving it turned in,
please, take it to a shop, before it fails.

I can't adjust these gauges. How do I do it?

The only part of the gauge that adjust is the tee handle in the middle. the gauge on the left tells you the line pressure to the torch, the gauge on the right tells how much oxygen is in the bottle, usually on a K bottle it is 1800 to 2000 lbs. if you turn the tee handle and the left gauge that tells line pressure does not respond you probably have a bad diaphragm in the gauge. Seek qualified repair man. Thanks

My victor oxygen regulator stopped regulating.

send it in for repair at any welding supply, most of them will ck' it out for free before they repair it, probably is grain of dirt / sand will cause that effect.

I was told today that i have a code 0420 oxy sencor. true false. The issue is I am eating gas.

Sounds true. The oxygen sensor regulates the fuel air (oxygen) mix for optimum performance with the least amount of fuel. If the oxy sensor malfunctions you'll get the incorrect fuel/air mix and waste fuel. Some vehicles see a 10% increase in fuel use with a bad O2 sensor.

Can't control pressure on victor oxygen regulator

One gage is fixed for tank volume the other is variable for you to set for process. if the variable gage dose not work you may have a bad diofram. You could purchase replacement repair parts at your welding supply store.
