You need to swap your main battery for a high performance kinetic... and maybe even ad a small kinetic in the back as well (fused separately) and see how that works for you. Just one oversized kinetic battery replacing your stock battery may do that trick. Remember, its best to install two batteries of the same brand and size, its ok to use the same brand and two different sizes (a kinetic 2400 and a kinetic 600 for example, but with an isolator) but its easier and simpler to just put in a kinetic 1200 or something that will replace your stock power sucking ineffecient lead acid stuff.

I got a stock head unit (monsoon in a 02 Trans AM) and i put a 200 amp alternator with 4 gauge wire through everything, my amp is sx1250.1 kicker pushing a JL 10w0, it will push my sub just fine when my volum is low. i know it has plenty of power to push it but as soon as i turn the volume up on my head unit it says "low voltage: on my kicker. i also got a 1 farad capacitor too!! do i need to get a new head unit or is it something else???

Capacitors are bad unless you get an extremely low esr one which is expensive. I got rid of my stupid cap.

Also, did you make sure you took care of the "big 3"? Meaning alternator to chassis, chassis to battery negative, alternator to battery positive?

This is saying you are running your impedance to low on your amp. You need to wire your subs in 2 ohm or 4 ohm configuration.

2. What speaker impedance loads do I need for proper operation of my Kicker KX and SX series single channel (.1) amplifiers?
KX and SX series subwoofer amps will perform perfectly at a speaker impedance load of NO LESS than 2 ohms. KX1200.1 and SX1250.1 amplifiers make maximum power at 1 ohm. Using impedance loads below Kicker recommendations will not make more power but it will eventually damage your amplifier (it will trigger the amps over-current protection) and void your warranty.

Hope this helps!

Why does my friends 2002 Saturn run smooth when first started, then after 5 minutes of driving gets real hot , then starts running rough, and has no accelaration

You will have to have the vehicle

Now one can guess at vehicle problems, without
the vehicle to gather info & test it to find a problem

Unfortunately this could be the main audio amp getting too hot and shutting itself down. Generally caused by a faulty audio amp IC transistors or the power supply.

I have an early 80s roland jc 120 it works fine for about 3 to 5 minutes then it gets distorted and loses some volume any ideas where to start would be helpful thanks

Tricky one. I'm not clear if this is a stereo amp, if it is you are looking for something that is common to both channels if the are both losing volume. If it's mono, then that more of a problem. However I think it's either a IC or transistor that is getting hot a causing the problem when it gets hot! Hence why it takes minutes to play up. They best way to track it down is wait while it plays up and feel with you finger (carefully) for a part that's very hot! I should switch off and unplug before carrying this out. If there are too many warm or hot parts then the best way to track the fault down is to again wait while it acts up and with some Servisol Freezer Spray - spray the selected parts one at a time whilst the amp is running. If the sound returns to normal after spraying a part you have found the culprit!

Every time i pull out my headlight swith the fuse instanly burns out the 10 amp and the 5 amp both bur out at the same time were would i look to solve problem in my 89 jeep cherokee

Only one way top find it, this might sound crazy , but it works. Get a fuse in there that is about 20 amps, temp, Do this at night, get some people standing around the engine and grille, and doors and under the dash, and hit the switch, real fast, again, till somebody spots a spark, make sure the fuse doesn't blow, but change it out if it does.,you will find your short, get it taped up and replace the right fuse, you should be all set. If this doesn't work, then you have to do some real digging. Hope this helps.

I have a whirlpool dryer LER5636EQ3 that will shut off after 3-5 mins.

I'm wondering if the motor may have a problem & getting too hot it most likely has a breaker built into the motor that shuts it off if it gets too hot . If that's the case it should reset after a while when it cools . You might try running it then when it stops let it sit for a while & see if it will start again . If it starts let it run when it stops again feel the motor & see if it is real hot . Just something you could check . Hope this helps
