Instruction manual for Cuisinart Easy Pop popcorn maker Model CPM-900

Hello, Sandra -

Even though the Cuisinart Easy Pop Popcorn Maker, Model CPM-900 is discontinued and no longer manufactured by Cuisinart, I was able to find the user manual on the Cuisinart web site.

All I did was use my favorite search engine, Google, and enter this search phrase:
Cuisinart CPM-900

The first search result brought me to this web page:

From that page, I was able to click on the Manual link, near the top center of the page, and end up here:

Note: The manual is in PDF format, so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software (free.)

Best wishes.

One of the side handles broke and it will no longer lock down.

Go to> LOoks like you will have to replace the base or the top. Under $25 each.

Broken plastic window

I have found the plastic window online at the Back to Basic Company web site.
I ordered two. They were $2.00 each plus shipping.
I navigated to the parts area, to the popcorn. Here is the link.
Hope this helps.

Popping plate not heating up

Remember the strirring rod connects to the motor, but the heating element connects via the two prongs in the rear, so the motor can run without the heating element turned on (turn on the base without the plate on...the motor runs fine). Try reattaching the needs a good connection to the connectors in the back. It should heat up pretty quickly. Also, if you put the heating pad in the dishwasher, make sure it is dry and that the contacts aren't tarnished.

I'm certain over time the contacts will get loose and the popper will stop working, but our is going fine after a year.

Also, be careful not to drop the base...lots of cheap, hard plastic that will break and rattle around.
