I turn it on and it beeps three times and then turns off.

My camera is acting strange... :/ I got this camera for Christmas 2009 and it worked really well until New Years Eve. It's a i1037: 10MP Digital Camera. I don't know what to do with it because I love taking pictures and I dance at a competitions and I would really like to be able to take pictures again. Here's my problem. I keep trying to turn it on but it just shows me the welcome screen and then beeps three times and won't let me take pictures or see pictures. I don't know what's going on with it. I checked the batteries, too. They're new batteries. I even tried plugging it into the computer. It does the same thing there, too. I've tried everything! Help!!! Thanks.

By some strange reason it happens also if the instrument panel dim light is all way up and you have to keep your dome light switch off or it will light even if all doors are shut. I put the dim light switch into normal position and my remote starter resumed its function! Thanks to F150 forum, I found this remedy there: 2010 REMOTE START

Your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

Three beeps when i try to turn it on

i had the same problem a while back. I fooled around with my camera lens a bit and it turned out that one side of the lens was sticking out a bit. I pressed down on this and pushed the power button and it worked. The next time I turned it on the same thing happened but if you keep doing the same thing it should work.

Here is the solution for your problem. If you look at your camera at an angle, you will see the zoom lens

is little bent to the side. I want you to put pressure on the cam to snap-it into it's place. After you heard a click, then turn-on your camera. This will fix your cam.

reading other threads here the soloution that works, yes for real, slap it on the tape side (closed) a few times then try to reload the tape, if it doesn't work the first time, close it and try slaping a few more times. I had to do it a few times but it does work.

Daughter received camera as Christmas gift. Camera beeps three times and does nothing. I guess this camera is only good until the warranty runs out, 90 days. We have tried several new batteries and the expensive rechargeable type also. VERY UNHAPPY!!!!!
