Down near front, hinge which front door/transfer belt pivots on also moves a vertical bar (inside left?) up + down to release cartridges/open flaps. There may be a linear gear meshed with a round gear down in the left side. everything has to be meshed and start from home position to work properly. follow the mechanism from the hinge(s) to see where it came loose.

Or right swing guide problem. Fairly complex mechanical issue. You'll need a manual. I'm a little mixed up between the various models (left hinge 3700? right swing arm3500?) here. Sorry.

First of all please check inside of the printer. You have to look for any piece of paper, paperclip or something like this. Then, please remove your printer cartridge and try to print with another one. There is an option that your printer "FUSER FIXING FILM" is damaged and that's why the paper sticks in that place. You have to find a skilled person for further assistance.

If there's a carriage jam. While the printer is turned on, Open the access door of you printer.
If the carriage is stuck at the left side, try moving it manually by hand to the right most part of the window. If it's stuck on the right, try moving it by hand to the left.
If you've already done that. While the printer is turned on, unplug the power cord from the back. Close the access door. And then plug it back in.
Make sure you restart the computer first just to avoid documents getting stuck in the print queue. Try printing again. Usually it does the trick.

Printer says "Open Door Clear Cartridge Jam" How

You might wanna try removing and reinserting the cartridges and make sure that they are properly fitted in.
Sometimes cleaning the cartridge and the carriage where you took out the cartridges from with a damp lint free cloth does the trick.
If you still have that message, open the cartridge access door.
If the carriage is stuck at the right side of the printer, move the carriage to the left side by hand. If it's stuck on the left side, try moving it by hand in the right side of the printer. Then while the printer is turned on, unplug it from the wall outlet and then plug it back in.
If the printer does not turn on, use the power button.
Try printing again.

Cartridge jams

remove the cartridge and directly off the printer let the carriage remain in center.then with your hand manually move the carriage from left to right.3 to 4 times.then on the printer and insert the cartridge after cleaning it with dry tissue.then check out.also in the back side of the printer there is access door to remove the paper if jammed so check out there also if any paper jammed.
thanks.

i had this problem, paper was jammed in between printer cartrage and the right wall ( when lookin at it from front).
open top flap of the printer, u will have access to the cartrage (the thing that moves side to side whilst printing) move that to the left and have a look on the right hand wall. you should see quite a bit of paper jammed up in that area, make sure u clean throughly, get a torch if psooible, close flap then ure eon ure way

Paper jam

If the jammed sheet is entirely within the printer, remove the sheet as follows:

r_2.gif Open the printer cover by pressing the latch on the left side of the printer and lifting the cover up all the way.

r_5.gif Remove the paper from the paper path.

ppe026.gif

r_space.gif r_note.gif Note: r_space.gif r_space.gif If paper is jammed at the fuser, grasp the bottom of the paper and pull it out.

r_6.gif Reinstall the photoconductor unit, and then the developer cartridge.

r_7.gif Close the printer cover.

r_8.gif Tap the edges of the stack of paper on a flat surface and carefully reload it into the MP tray. (Do not reload curled or wrinkled sheets.)

Printing automatically restarts from the page that jammed. If the Paper light stays on after removing all jammed paper, open and close the printer cover to clear the error.
