My Acer Aspire 3000 does not recognize my wireless network anymore. It says it cannot find any networks - I verified that the network is ok. The device manager says the device is working properly. I went back to an earlier system restore point and now it gets stuck trying to obtain the network address. Is there a way to diagnose if the card went south?

I'm having the same problem with my Acer Aspire 3000, it will no longer detect my wireless router. I have never had a problem like this in the last 5 years while in my home with my laptop. I tried restarting the laptop, unplugging and plugging the router, i made sure that the wireless switch on the laptop is on, and especially made sure there were no programs on the bottom right hand corner accessing the router.
