    OOPS Submitted too soon.
Gently, with one finger, push the latch downwards and pull towards you. The compartment will open. Insert the main batteries respecting the polarity diagram.

Is it possible to change the faceplate of the TI-84 Plus calculator?

Yes, you can change the faceplate of the TI 84PLUS Silver Edition only, not the TI 84 Plus. Face plates are available for purchase at the TI online store. When you go the online store, select the country, then the calculator model. You will find them under accessories for the TI 84 Plus SE.

Hi, i was wondering if you can help me with my ti-84 plus silver edition calculator. The problem is that it simply won't turn on, even with NEW batteries. Thank you

1. Check the battery holding area and make sure that all of the connectors are protruding enouugh for the batteries to make a good connection.
2. Check the diagram for exact polarity placement.
3. If still no power, try using you electrical plug for power. The problem could be with a connector and you may have to purchase a new TI.

My TI-84 Plus Silver Edition got wet and now the

I would suggest putting it in some dry rice. That will soak up all the moisture. You might also try drying it with a hair dryer.

I have a TI 84 plus silver edition. Won't turn

The problem may be due a screen that is too light to see anything on it. Adjust the screen darkness.
  1. Press [2nd] key and release it.
  2. Press and HOLD the [UpArrow] to draken screen.
  3. Release the [UpArrow] when screen is dark enough.
You can also connect it to the computer to see if TI Connect finds it. If it does, update the OS to version 2.53MP.

You change the backup battery if the calculator tells you RAM CLEARED each time you turn it ON.

i finally fixed my calculator~

1. if you have a ti 84 plus silver, plus, or just ti 84, find a friend who has either a ti 84 plus silver, plus, or just ti 84. (as long as the number is the same)

2. link the two calculators together

3. using your friends calculator, press the [2nd] and the one next to alpha [x,t,o,n]

4. go all the way down to [send os]

5. send it to the other calculator and your problem should be fixed
