Push down exactly on the raised lines (there should be two of them) and slide it down as youre pushing...it should go... if you try to pry it off you will break it.... if you try pushing anywhere else but those lines at the top of the backing, it will not push so make sure you have your finger directly on the double lines.... hope this helps!

MY TOUCHSCREEN ISNT WORKING, I TRIED TURNING THE PHONE OFF AND ON, AND ALSO TAKING THE BATTERY OUT AND PUTTING IT BACK IT AND EITHER DID NOT HELP

never think that you can fix the touch screen problem by opening the phone... it can only be done by professionals.... so give your phone to LG... for checking .... they will repair it in good manner...

go to service centre and tell them about the problem you facing... Bcoz there is no cure to fix damaged touch screen...

the only way is Replacing it with the same one.... and dont forget to ask for genuine LG touch screen.....

The switch that detects when the slid is open isnt making contact, open it (remove the battery cover) and clen the 2 brass contacts, if that doesnt work, replace the back cover.
