I have a new NetGear WG111 and AT&T with windows 2000. I have installed the drivers and am sitting on the Wireless Assistant. I can't connect to my wireless modem. Help?

I imagine you bought the WG111 Kit. It could but throught the Router and/or the adapter. Uninstall all netgear software and drivers. Unplug the adapter. Reboot machine. Plug the adapter in and install the software drives. Basically your starting over. This will take the quess work out of trying to repair what was lost. The error you get from Windows about the digital signature is normal. This only means that windows hasn't tested and approved it. just as the Netgear guys will tell you, the wireless adapter is compatible and will work fine. When you get that message, you'll usually allow it or continue with the installation.
