The beeping is as a result of low power. I found several articles on-line about this, and you are not alone. The best solution I saw was to use NiMH Rechargable batteries. They say it takes the life from 30 shots, to 30 days worth of shots if you get the correct rechargable AA Batteries.

If it is not power, then I am sorry, but I am of no help.

Many people complain about the life of batteries, and this beeping though, best to try it, and see.

Digimax S800 Samsung : Lens won't retract
check first if battery is ok, maybe your problem is your barrel, if barrel not function properly you need to change motor or barrel allignment. if barrel is ok you have short circuit in your assy pcb main.

The lens is stuck open and nothing will work. Every time I try to turn it on or push a button it beeps and turns off.
First, make sure you have a charged battery. Once you have that, try turning it on, and gently press on the lens to try to help it reseat. You might try googling the problem, there are free suggestions to try before you take it to a repair facility. But if you do decide to have a shop fix it, get an estimate first. Oftentimes, the repair is about what you will pay for a good, used camera on Ebay.

Samsung Digimax D53 Camera says low battery but just replaced with brand new ones. Camera beeps and shuts down immediately.
For digital cameras you should use either Rechargeable(whith high Ampere) or high performance alkaline batteries (ie. Lithium Duracel or Enegizer) normal alkaline batteries will not be able to charge the Flash. If you are useing high performance batteries then it is sadly your camera which is faulty. repairing it you could but it is cheaper to get a new camera.

D53 camera will not fully turn on...help??
If you've tried the suggestions for similar problems on here - use NiMH or lithium batteries (not alkalines), then it may be a warantee job. Afraid I don't have any other suggestions.

Samsung Digimax D53 beeps and shuts off
I had the exact same problem. Camera turned on but turned off soon after, with lens still outside. I noticed the lens was crooked as if it was stuck. I pulled it out and I heard it click into place, for a second I thought I had broken it. I then turned it on and everything was working again ! Whew ! Problem Solved :D Good luck!!
