Re: boot device not detect
Your PC is trying to boot from your external hard/flash drive.
You have to change the boot order in the bios. While booting what the screen, you'll see a message "Select F2 for boot or DEL/F10 for setup"
Go for the setup option, this will take you into the bios. Read the instructions carefully, you need to change to boot order, choose CD for 1, HDD0 for 2 anything you like for third. Press F10 to save and exit. Your PC should now boot properly.
Or, as its just a flash drive, don't plug it in until your PC has booted.

Sorry you are having trouble. Try this: turn unit on. Press F8 to goto safe mode. Goto control panel. Goto System. Goto Device Manager. Look for display adapters. Remove whatever is listed there (write it down first) Reboot to normal mode. What should happen is that windows will detect a display adapter and install it. let me know if you need more info.
Hi, It seems that the problem is with the display chipset ( assuming its with Nvidia chipset model). If you are not a technical person, take out the mother board and do a reflow of the chipset with a blower or else take it to a qualified service person or authorised service center.
Blue error message comes when there is any issue with memory. First Refix your RAM memory. Then boot your computer with recovery disk. For that you have to set first boot device as your cd or dvd rom . When you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or "del" key then you see bios setup screen. Then go to boot option and set first boot device as cd or dvd. Then put bootable disk in computer then it boot with it. Then follow the procedure on screen. choose "R" option for enter in "Recovery Console" Then type in prompt "chkdsk /r" then
it fix error on harddisk then then restart computer then if still same
issue then you have to repair your windows with recovery disk. Let me know if you need more assistance. Thanks.
Right after you power the computer on start tapping F2 rapidly on the keyboard until you are in the BIOS setup. When you are in the BIOS setup, check to see that the computer recognizes your boot device and that your boot order is correct. Also, if you have changed any jumpers on your mainboard; change the back.
Boot the machine into safe mode. Right click on My Computer (XP) Computer (Vista) and select manage from the sub menu. When the window pops up select Device Manager. A device list will populate. When it has look down the list for Display Adapters. Click on the + icon next to Display Adapters to it expands. Right click on the display adapter and select uninstall.
Restart the computer and let it boot in normal mode. If it boots in normal mode let it detect the Display and install the drivers for it. I would be a good idea to update the display drivers via the Dell support website.
If it still won't display in normal mode please post back.
