When i try to star the update it says the system configurationof this psp system does not appear to be correct.the updatecannot completed.contact technical support for assistance.(drnffffffcd)

You will have to do what the psp told you to do, do you still have the manual, usually it has a support center number for you to call, i hope i was helpful

turn off ur psp,( hold d power button up for 3 sec.) den, hold d "r" button n den turn it on, don't leave d R button until psp starts. dis process will take u to d psp configuration settings.

I cant update my firmware


YOU CAN ALWAYS just download the patch manually off the internet, then place the update file into your Games folder.

I cannot update my psp


I've seen this is two different cases - the first is that some Japanese systems seem to only like Japanese updates (check to see if the last digit of the model number is a '0' - Like "PSP-1000"), and the second if that if the PSP was downgraded at some time in the past it's possible that the idstorage is slightly corrupted.

If it's the latter case, then there are programs that can fix it, but you need a PSP that can run homebrew code to run them, and it sounds like you are on the official firmware.

PSP Update Error


I have had the same problem and i fixed it!! the way i did it is I used (key cleaner). this program basically cleans bad keys. These bad keys are causing the problem. The version to download is 1.4. Also i have the thick PSP.
