Fisher/Paykel Smart-drive 5.5 auto washing machine was on final spin cycle and starte making unbalanced load noises. I stopped it,redistributed load and tried to restart. It restarted in spasms so I took the clothes out and tried to restart the full cycle. It tries to fill in spasms -- as though the tap is being turned off every few seconds ... so I left it alone and am seeking help ...

Sound like the controller opr micro board is sick. unplug leave off for a few minutes then power up again and try empty wash cycle if its the same call the engineers.
