Display says error

We have an LG Tromm washer model# WM2688HNM. The display says "error, no water supply, check tap and hose" we have tried everything, including having a repair man try to fix it. Water seems to be going in, but it is not draining. What could it be?

I have give the same solution in other post, here it is :
usually problem with semi auto washing machine is on the sensors , exactly in the water level sensor, please check the hose that connected to water level sensor, make sure no dirt blocking or clogging the hose. also you can clean the tube under the pulsator, usually there is many dirt blocking the hose line.
the problem is in the hose leading to the water level sensor, if there is no dirt and looks normal, water level sensor must be replaced

ERROR CODE 1e

An IE error code signifies that the washing machine is filling with water slowly or not at all. This can occur when water supply taps are not fully open or the water pressure to the tap or house is too low. Other possible causes are kinked, pinched or bent water line hoses, or clogged water inlet filters.
TIP Make sure the water taps are fully open.
Make sure the hoses are not kinked or pinched. (Use caution when moving the washer.)
Clean the inlet filters.
Check another faucet in the house to make sure your household water pressure is adequate

TE code wm2688hnm

proceed with common sense and logically, fix it use the Vom or DVOM .God bless you

For this error code you need to check both the water heater or element and thermistor, basically the washing machine is reporting a fault on the heating circuit with this fault code but it is not capable of identifying exactly where the fault actually lies.
On non-display panel models this fault code is denoted by the lights for 95, 60, 40 and cold being lit or flashing.

  • Check water heating element
  • Check heater for contunuity,
  • Check steam heater for continuity usually
  • Check thermistor or temperature sensor
  • Check the thermistor resistance,
  • Check wiring to water heating element
  • Check connections to water heating element and temperature sensor

Lg tromm washer what does IE stand for?wash machine stops running and IE appears

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

LG's 'IE' stands for (water) 'Inlet Error'.

If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C

LG Tromm wm1832cw le error

That is a water level error of some sort.
Check all of Water Valves visually.
(Pre Wash Valve, Cold Water Valve, Bleach Water Valve, Softener dispenses using Cold & Bleach Water Valve, and Hot
Water Valve.)
• Check if water taps are turned on fully.
• Check Water Valves and Water Level Sensor (Refer to PCB Connector Check)
• Check if there is any kink in inlet hoses.
• Check if inlet screens are clogged up.
• Check if water has enough pressure. If so, find out its contributors.
• Check if there is any frozen area in the unit if in cold climate. (Drain Hose, etc)
Measure the resistance of Water Valve Coil.
(It should read 1.18K ohms.

LG Washing Machine stops spinning in mid cycle

IE:

• Water supply is not adequate in
area.
• Water supply taps are not
completely open.
• Water inlet hose is bent.
• The filter of the inlet hose clogged.

Solution:
Check another tap in the house.
Fully open tap.
Straighten hose.
Check the filter of the inlet hose.

UE:
• Load is too small.
• Load is out of balance.
• The appliance has an imbalance
detection and correction system. If
individual heavy articles are loaded
(bath mat, bath robe, etc.) and the
imbalance is too great, after several
attempts to restart the spin cycle the
machine will stop and the error code
will be displayed.

Solution:
Add 1 or 2 similar items to help
balance the load.
Rearrange load to allow proper
spinning.

Lg washing machine error code is ie

IE = inlet error. Washer has not detected enough water after 8 minute fill time. Check screen at inlet water valves where hoses connect to machine for blockage. Look for kinked hose(s). Make sure there is water supply reaching machine. If all OK, most likely next thing is the water valve itself.
