Will not shut off.

Your timer is broken, kind of like mechanical watches and grandfather clocks, and music boxes.... If you over wind they no longer work properly or at all. The coild that stops and starsts it doesnt lock any more and now it doesn't know when it is technically done. SO my dear, you now have the best, awkward toaster oven :]

When the receiver powers up just the fan seems to go on. Resetting by holding the i/o will turn the yellow light off but doesn't turn the fan off and comes back on after you release the i/o...

Hello Joe, my name is Becki, with DISH Network. You will want to make sure that the receiver is in a well ventilated area, and that there is nothing heavy sitting directly on it. The receiver's fan can start running constatntly if the unit starts to overheat. You may also want to try putting the receiver out on the floor for a few hours to cool down. You can also try to unplug the receiver from the power source for 10 seconds, that can be a more thourough reset than holding the power button down. The fan will run while starting the receiver up, for about 5 minutes, then it should stop running loudly. If you continue to have problems, please let me know!

Reset the router

1. On the back of your router there is a little black reset button. Use a pen or paper clip and press down for 10 seconds. Make sure the lights on the router stop blinking for one second. Release the button and make sure to reset your wireless security and network ID.
2. If that doesn't work just unplug your routers power cord. This is the easiest way to reset your internet connection without resetting your router to factory settings.
3. If neither of those work, unplug the power cord of your modem. This will completely reset the internet connection without resetting the routers settings.

I have a RCA 14"

Main control board is toast. Really not worth repairing unless it's in a specialty location. If it is, it's going to have to go to a repair center.

My controller only works when plugged in. Tried the little hole at the back thing for 10 secs but didn't work

Try it again with it unplugged from the usb cable.

Hold down the reset button for 15 seconds release, hold down again for another 10 seconds.

Then hook it up and try again.

If that doesn't work you can try hooking it up to another PS3 to check if that makes a difference. If it doesn't than it's toast :(
