Hi Deon you should try going to the website (www.dstv.co.za) if the steps below don't work

Firstly, check that the remote is working. Press any button on the remote. If the green light blinks (below INFO, BACK or both) the remote is working.

Now check where the green light is blinking.

If the green light below INFO blinks, the remote is in TV1 mode.
If the green light below BACK blinks, the remote is in TV2 mode.
If the green lights below both INFO and BACK blink, the remote is in TV3 mode.
Change the mode of the remote (see next section below) and try again.

The DStv HD Decoder must be set up to "listen" for the correct mode. You can do this in DStv Central.
• Press the DStv button
• Go to "Settings"
• Select System Settings
• Select Remote Control
• If the remote is set to TV1 mode, set mode 2 and mode 3 to Ignore.
• If the remote is set to TV2 mode, set mode 1 and mode 3 to Ignore.
• If the remote is set to TV3 mode, set mode 1 and mode 2 to Ignore

Hi, the flashing green light indicates a fault in the heating circuit of the appliance.

You would require to have, and be able to use, a multimeter to fully test the components. Check the circuit of the heating element (26 ohms).
Check for an open circuit heater cut-out.
Check pressure switch open circuit (connections 11-14).
Check wiring and connections between module card, pressure switch and heater.

If all above is OK, replace module card.
The heater and the module card are the most common causes of the fault. The heater is on the underside of the appliance and is attached to the top spray arm feed tube. The module card is in the facia of the appliance.

try to reset(small black button in inside unit under the cover)

a component in the wall unit is failing , that makes the conection happen when the remote signal is recieved , ( it is recieving the remote signal but not sending it out to the control circuit for the motor )

The unit is in the lock mode, push and hold the lock button in for about two seconds and the green LED should stop flashing. Your remotes should work.
