Samsung TV Is Not Picking Up A Playstation 3 HDMI Signal

If you are able to connect your PS3 to another TV using the same HDMI cable that would rule out your PS3, if it works.....or
does the PS3 itself have any settings that perhaps need to be set to an HDMI output as opposed to Composite or SCART etc?
Also have a look at the HDMI settings in theh TV menu too.

My PS3 wont show on my TV, i made sure that all the cords are in, until i seen one of the red cords. The metal around it was bent and the tip was burnt. Then we checked the PS2 and it worked and everything...

You may need to reset your video settings. Did you try connecting a HDMI cable recently? If so, this may have scrambled your video settings.

First things first, if possible, try to connect a usb cable to your system. Turn it off, connect HDMI, then turn it back on. It should automatically detect the HDMI.

If you have no HDMI, press and hold the power button until the system shuts off, after a few seconds (maybe 3) press and hold the power button again until you hear 3 beeps. Let go of the power button. This should get you into the safe mode. If so, try restarting the system. If the first option doesn't help you, try all options 1-5. If you are unable to get a signal from the HDMI and the options 1-5 doesn't work, you will need to send your PS3 in to Sony and not a 3rd party technician, your motherboard has gone bad.Good luck.

Tv says "no signal" when i turn on PS3

About holding the reset button, I assume you know how to use that trick, you might be missing something, though: Probably you have your TV set to the incorrect input, eg. Connect only the HDMI, set your TV to HDMI input and go with the power button trick (press (youll hear a beep), dont release until you hear a second beep) the system will autmatically display through HDMI, it can take up to 5 secons or so.

When either putting the hdmi lead or the normal leads into tv I get the signal no signal I have now tried 3 tvs and the same thing comes on the screen please advice

might be because the TV does not support HDMI. try with regular cords if that works, then the HDMI cables need to be replaced.

I have sharp 37 inch LC-37D44U MY PS3 is not working with it it green lights keep blinking power light and OPC. BUT THE HDMi ports work beacause i checked it with other devices. so i dont know why its not...

Does this happen when you input certain signals to the HDMI2_bing.gif ports? Or all signals (e.g. 1080i, 720p, 1080p, etc.)? And which ports are affected - side HDMI, rear component, etc.?

I had this issue and Sharp sent out a local repair tech to install a new main circuit board, then two weeks later, a new side board (where the side inputs connect into the system)... their first visit allowed my TV to accept signals in the rear HDMI ports (all signals worked well), but then I couldn't get a signal processed via the side HDMI port. At first, just 1080p would not display (caused the OPC/power green light blinking), and after a few days, any signal hitting that port would cause the error lights to come on. But as I said, eventually, a new side board resolved that issue.

No signal on my TV

try connecting the ps3 to the HDMI only, now when the ps3 is off and all but the single red light is on rest your finger on the on button for about 8 seconds, as soon as you touch it it will turn on but just wait a bit and you'll here the a second beep- this should reset your ps3's video output settings. Try it out, it works for me when i go back and forth from av to HDMI.

Please remember to rate my response if helpful.

Input Signal between TV and satellite dish lost

had that happen with my 42F430 and my PS3
every other input works except the HDMI
toke me the entire day to verify that its not my PS3 thats casuing the trouble
what i end up doing is "UNPLUG" the power cord of the TV and disconnect the HDMI cable from the PS3 then let the tv sit for 2 minute, then plug the power cord back in the TV then press and hold the power button for about 10 second.. to turn it on, after the TV boots up then i go to menu and do a factory reset
and after that it start picking up the signal from my PS3 again

HDMI ON ILO 32HD

it sounds like there is a problem with either the output on the PS3 or the input on the circuit board of the TV. I would try a reset on the PS3 first. Also make sure that there are no other video or audio cords plugged into the PS3 because this will cause the PS3 not to send the signal via the HDMI.
