Canon i9950. Suddenly no ink coming from five wells (BK, R, G, PC & PM) despite plenty of ink. Not a speck on the test sheet after several cleanings and deep cleanings. Other inks fine. Printer was idle for about a week but trouble free before.

I have the same problem but it's only with the black ink, I removed the print head unit and run it under the hot tap till th ewater ran clear, then i soaked it in hot water and again run fresh water through it till it ran clear then left it in a bath of alcohol, i just used whiskey, but wouldn't recommend drinking it after, or before for that matter, I felt there was nothing to lose if it was a faulty print head as they are about £95 new. I had already run several deep cleaning programs and replaced the inks, but literally no black ink at all was printing. I havn'e tried it yet as it's still soaking, but I have also stripped the cover off the priinter and am trying to clean otu the waste ink tanks and absorbant pads, it's far to expensive a printer to just chuck out so here's hoping

Brian.

I can not get Yellow to print

Personally I would just take out the print head and flush it through with warm water. When it is clean, add all the inks and run it through the clean print heads utility, until the test sheet looks correct. Another point, do not ever switch off the printer, as it cannot periodically clean itself. If it cannot clean itself the print heads can dry up and become clogged.

I have a Canon I9950 printer it started playing up and despite head cleaning in warm water etc as recommended still did not print all the colours. I bought a new print head and new canon inks (always used...

I would check to make sure that the contacts on the cartridgew sensors are not fouled with dried ink. A q-tip with rubbing alcohol should help to remove the dried ink if that is in fact the problem.

Why is the yellow ink is not coming through on my canon inkjet mp780 - despite having cleaned, deep cleaned and re aligned the nozzles several times?

Remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken .

Most of Group 1inks,(except red) won't print

Over on the right is not waste ink pads, waste ink is under the print engine covering the whole bottom of the printer. On the right is the purge assembly and there is ink on the filters on top and on the squeegee that wipes the printhead. You may need a new purge assembly, or just re attach a hose in the purge unit that may have come off. That printer is well worth the repair...

Only colours are printing no black, all inks just replaced newly replaced black ink does not print despite several cleaning

Sounds like the black color lines (the "cables" between print head and cartridges) either have clogged ink in them, or air bubbles. Try the cleaning process found by pressing Ink Management and then Menu/Set twice. After the test print sheet is printed, answer the question(s) in the display and print up to five test prints by answering the questions.
It should solve the problem, but if it doesn't, you should perform a heavier duty purge found in the service mode.

Canon i9950 colour deterioration

You can try changing cartridge but that would help little since the print head on canon printers are on the printer itself. Although you can give it a shot first since that would definitely be the cheaper option.
