OK, if you used fresh batteries and they are of sufficient voltage, then I would check for dirty contacts and if that doesn't solve the problem your camera may need service or if that is unavailable, consider getting a replacement.

HOW TO TURN ON FLASH

Flash should pop up automatically when you operate camera in easy mode (green square on dial selector) in low light conditions. If using in manual modes press the button on the left side of the lens mount. To fire the flash without taking a picture press the button used to zoom out when viewing pictures.
If your flash does not work at all then there is probably a fault with the charging circuit or firing circuit.

Orange light flashes on when turn on Olympus c-50 zoom camera and orange and green lights in upper left corner blink when try to take pictures. Won't take any pictures

The flashing Orange light means the charge is flashing.
The flashing Green light means the focus and exposure are not correct.

Have you recently replaced the batteries? Or are you using rechargeable batteries? Lack of enough "Juice" could allow for the flash to not charge up (Orange) therefore not allowing the camera to get the correct exposure (Green). I would try new fresh batteries or a new battery pack. If that doesn't fix the issue it must be a bad circuitry in the body that is shorting not letting the flash charge.

Jacob

Flashing Lights!!

The problem may be from the memory card, the memory card of the camera may have been damage, try to get a new memory card then see whether the problem will still occur. Since the memory card is damage, you won't be able to take any picture.

When ever i take a picture, the orange light turns on acting like its going to take a picutre but it doesnt. When i take it off flash, it takes the picture.

The orange light blinking means the flash is charging, once the light goes off you can go ahead take picture with flash. Your light keeps blinking because the flash is not ready.
Try with fully charged batteries. If it won’t work, you may have an open fuse or something wrong with the flash circuit.

Casio Exilim z75 - unable to take pictures

Try shutting off your flash and see if it still does that. It sounds like you have a problem with your flash not charging correctly. You can try resetting the camera but I doubt if that will help. I would try just shutting the flash off and see if that would help.

This can sometimes be fixed if you remove the batteries over night and allow the camera to sit and discharge it should correct this problem. hope this helps.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
