If your camera suffered a hard impact or was smooshed by something it needs repair. Otherwise, here are a couple of suggestions before that;
- reset all features and settings to default settings. Your manual should guide you to do this.
Test camera with dark and light enviroments, as well as with and without flash.
If the problem still remains, try a reliable camera repair company. Teleplan Camera Repair will give you an immediate online quote and they also clean your camera as part of the repair.

Optio E50 camera . after taking photo when I press to see what I have taken , the screen is mainly white with very faint images . I have reset camera to factory settings but with same result . Help !!

If the images look OK when downloaded to your computer, then the fault lies in the camera. If, however, they look the same, then you need to look at either your exposure or white balance settings.

Inställning? finepix_s5000_digital_camera When I print an image on paper that I have taken, I get a gray background. Not white. Why? Please help me! Thanks, Bibbi

Not really a solution yet but we really don't know if the problem is with your camera or your printer. If you can, remove your memory card and take it to your nearest photo retailer (I like WalMart). Ask the technician there to help you make a photo of the offending image. If the background is gray on the new photo, the problem is with your camera. If not, it is likely your printer.
Your camera may have settings that can be adjusted as well.
Also, if you're using standard copy paper instead of photo paper to print your picture, there may be color issues as well.
Hope this helps.

I have taken photos with white flash box of wine bottles and the

If that is the only problem with the photo, you can use Photoshop to change the pink to white. You will need to go to Image/Adjustment/Levels. Use the eyedropper on the right to click in the pink space to make that white.

The other option is to see if the bottles are bouncing color on to the white. You may want to tape some white paper to the sides of the bottle (out of camera view) so the bounce is only white.

try setting your camera's auto balance into Automatic or Outdoor. So the camera could adjust the light or diable flash.

Poor image displayed on cscreen after shot taken

I have an s60 and it sounds like I had this exact problem. Whenever I took a photo, the entire picture was covered with white horizontal lines. The actual image files were striped the same way.

I found this on the Canon USA site:
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=PgComSmModDisplayAct&keycode=2112&fcategoryid=223&modelid=10149

Because it was a hardware issue, they sent me a shipping label, I sent in the camera, they fixed it, and sent it back. All free of charge.

Good luck; I hope your camera is repairable.
