Samsung has quite a high failure/problem rate among their products. Ice makers are no exception.
Sometimes, but not often, a reboot of the appliance will solve the issue. This is done simply by unplugging/ or turning off the breaker for 5 minutes and then turning back on again.
Remove the bucket and shine a light up in there to see if anything might be jammed. Remove as necessary.
There is a button toward the front, top, right side of this icemaker. it looks like a clear piece of rubber but will push in with your finger. Light pressure is usually enough.
This will manually force the icemaker into a cycle so watch it/listen and see if something happens. If it does not, then replace the icemaker (yes they go bad after just a year and a half)
part# I found is DA97-05422A but you may want to check with the parts store as Samsung changes part numbers often!
SOURCE: ice tray stuck
Hi My Samsung freezer was nor a RB2155 it is a RS2630SH however after not making any ice because the tray was stuck in the upside down position or thereabout after 6 weeks it suddenly started making ice again, we had not done anything to it but we heard it dropping ice one evening and we had a look in the ice container and low and behold the ice box was full to the top, I would still like to know why it went like that in the first place in case it happens again it is a mystery. SOURCE: Ice Maker quit making ice cubes
Look on the bottom of the rectangular motor housing for the ice maker. This is the white box that holds the front end of the ice tray. In the past, this was normally a small patch of black 'runner' that covered the switch and helped kkep moisture out.
If you cannot locate it by feel, try using a small mirror and a flashlight to help you locate it.

SOURCE: our Samsung ice maker stopped working
Sound like the problem may be a gear broken or damaged in the module which appears to be replaceable in your model. If you can dissasemble it enough to inspect the gears you may can replace the part instead of the entire ice maker. It looks like the motor may be in part 18 on this diagram. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getSubComp.pd?modelNumber=RS2630WW&productCategoryId=0165000&brandId=1482&modelName=SAMSUNG-REFRIGERATION&diagramPageId=00009&componentDescription=ICE%20MAKER&documentId=M0612092&backToLink=Return%20to%20Sub%20Components%20list
