SOURCE: fuji Finex 800 camera

If it's pink/purple and "streaky", you have a bad CCD sensor. The only fix is replacement of the sensor. This is the main image capturing sensor in the camera. The situation is well documented on the web. It's usually the end of the camera, unless it's under warranty (or just a little past). Approaching Fuji's repair department can sometimes yield a sympathetic rep who'll have it fixed at no charge to you. If you are on the hook for the repair, expect to drop about $100 US.

Can I view the photos on my SD card on the camera and not use USB cord, or do I have to put SD card in computer?

Yes, most cameras allow you to view pictures on the camera! Obviously viewing on a PC screen would be clearer because of the screen size compared with the smaller camera screen!

When i remove the sd card to upload photos to my computer my new pictures are not there but are when the sd card is in the camera?

There are two possibilities that I can think of. 1) The SD card is full. You will need to copy the pictures off the SD card and onto your computer, then format the card. You can probably do this in the camera, but MAKE SURE you have copied the pictures you want to your computer because the format will erase everything. 2) The SD card is write protected. Look closely at the SD card there is a little slide switch that "locks" the SD card so that your camera cannot put any pictures on it. This slide switch must be in the unlocked position (or NOT locked).
Hope this helps.

Kodak C190 camera. I moved my pics from my SD card to my computer. Then tried to transfer them back..after many tries, they are back on my SD card. I can view them by putting the SD card in my laptop. When...

This should do it for you: Insert the SD card into your laptop or computer. In the SD card go to "New Folder" name that folder "DCIM" in the "DCIM" folder create a new folder. This one you will name "101KC190" (I'm pretty sure you have the Kodak Easyshare 190, correct?) Now, transfer all of your pictures into "101KC190." Insert the SD into your camera and it should work. email me if you need to [email protected]

I have a FinePix A900 camera with a 1 GB SD card. I connected a cable in the A/V Out to watch the photos on a TV set. At this moment something went wrong. The camera LCD becomes black and no picture was...

First of all, it is never advisable to copy a picture from the computer to a memory card or camera. Most of the time, it will corrupt the card and sometimes the camera. Second, the procedure for connection to a tv needs to follow a detailed procedure. This is different for each tv and camera. For example, on my tv, my camera and tv need to be off, I make the connection, turn on the tv, set the tv menu to "photos", turn on the camera, and then follow the on-screen prompts from there. If I change that order, I have problems.

Do they make a devise where I can plug in a SD card out of my digital camera into it and hook up up to my LCD TV to view the pictures that's on the SD card. I know I can hook the camera up to the TV, But...

Unless you have a newer TV with the built in slots already attached, chances are no you cannot. The camera in this case acts as a processor that is able to give the display output to the monitor (TV) and you can view it that way. All the TV is is a monitor. It has no processor to read the card, hence you need an external source to have a display. They do have TV's with them already built in but unless you know you have it, you can't.

Cannot view images on my sd card via computer

Try to remove the SD card from the camera and view the pictures. If you can still view the pictures it means that they are in the internal 8mb memory. If it is inth internal 8MB memory, you have to connect to a PC in order to transfer them.

SD card

Once connected to your PC you can copy virtually any file to the SD card and transport it home. However, in doing so you do risk the possibility that the camera may not be able to properly display the existing images on its LCD screen. The files won't be damaged, so they can be manually copied to the PC afterwards. In a similar situation, .JPG images you obtain from other sources can be coped to the SD card for temporary storage, but the camera may not display them properly. In any of the above cases when a problem is experienced, manually copy the files to te PC anf reformat the SD card IN THE CAMERA.
