Paper jam everything was working fine when all of sudden my paper started coming out at an angle-it says paper jam which there isn't any-how do i fix this da--thing? i guess you get what you pay for-i tell my friends to stay away from this kind of printer-one store told me there was nothing you could do-just buy a new printer and the store sold this printer!!!!!!!!!!

I have the same issue all of a sudden my paper started to jam and pull to the right side, what can I so I just got this printer.

Almost the same - I happily printed 10 sheets the next one didn't feed through - didn't get caught or go at an angle, now lights just flashing and it says paper jam - there never was a paper jam and still isn't - there is nothing there ???

My printer was also pulling the paper to the right and getting jammed but i have now solved my problem as i found a pen inside that had fell in where the paper goes
so check to see if anything has fallen in

Same problem...jams at the right side and all the images are smushed...my solution is buy a new one from walmart, return old one to walmart and try that one...i work there and know that we take everything back, thats where i purchased it in the first place.

Best recommendation is take it back ... it is new ... if you mess with it, bye bye warranty. Make em fix the electric start as well. There are unseen issues with this machine.

When trying to print getting error Paper Jam in Manual Feeder. There is no Jam...we tap the side of the machine and it prints....any Ideas on what causes this to happen?

There is likely a loose connection going to the manual feed paper sensor.
The printer thinks there's paper in the manual feed, but of course since there isn't any paper there, when it tries to feed the paper in from the manual feed, the next paper sensor is not tripped, so it assumes there is a jam in the manual feed.
Start testing at the manual feed sensor, and work your way back to the board it connects to.
It may be the sensor itself just needs to be cleaned - these sensors are usually optical, and spraying canned air at it will often fix it up.
Also, make sure the lever that trips the sensor isn't sticking after using the manual feed.

Sharp Z-835 Paper Jams

A few things come to mind;
1) Feed rollers in tray are either worn or dirty
2) Transport tires are dirty
3) Fuser worn

If you've had this for 10 years and have not done much to it besides a toner or drum then I would recommend taking it to a qualified technician.

My Epson DX4000 Printer keeps getting paper jams and wont print

still printing but the paper goes no further?. It may be the paper is locked by paper feeder mecahnics, Open case, check it, and may be there is something "material" broke.

Epson RX500, Paper Jam - printing couldn't start

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button, applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time. Worth a try. I have fixed a number of printers this way saving costly repairs. Bud

Paper getting stuck

the reason the paper is going in sideways is because one feed roller has more pressure than the other

try cleaning the rollers with alcohol and cotton cloth

If that does not work remove the paper tray t

take your fingers and see if the feed rollers turn freely or turn in only one direction( some rollers are half moon and only turn a half turn)

Just try to make sure that the roller that is not working is in the same position and turns the same as the one that does feed properly

don't know if it's the same problem i had but its maybe worth a try. My paper went in a little, the wheels were turning but it didn't take the rest of the paper or print.
someone replied to my problem, i tried it and it fixed 1st time. seems to of worked for others to, not always 1st time but it seems to reset the sensors or something
Solution:- Use a piece of thin card, a magazine cover is what i used, make sure its A4 size then try to print something, as the paper starts moving push it through! and hey presto it worked for me, everything printing fine now

Don't know if it's the same problem i had but its maybe worth a try. Canon MP160
My paper went in a little, the wheels were turning but it didn't take the rest of the paper or print.
