Mms activation how can i activate my mms?

Yes sir,to retrieve MMS data,you should activate you MMS/GPRS by configuring the settings of your network provider or Smart provider.

Here's how to Activate the your MMS/GPRS

Key in SET MMS and send to 211.

To download SMART GPRS phone settings:

Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that's "SET MMS N6230"

To activate SMART GPRS:

Key in "GPRS ON" and send to "333′

To activate SMART MMS:

Key in "MMS ON" and send to "333′

Note :
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select "Save All" to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.

Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated.

you have not activated mms in your phone firstily you does activate mms....................if you have multimedia phone then you can activate mms from call to customer care.........only the customer care activate mms in your phone.........

To active mms on your phone please contact your service provider call center representative and check for the setting on your phone and if its not activated then please give them a request to active mms on your phone number and than they would send you the settings please save those setting on your phone... then the mms service would be activated...

If you are sending sms ideally it should not show anything like you require GPRS. But for sending MMS services you require MMS services activated and MMS settings on your phone. Some service providers need GPRS to be activated if you want to send MMS and some needs MMS services activated. Please call customer care and ask them regarding MMS Services and activated a good plan then try to send Messages. I believe this solution will help to resolve the issue.
