Want to change ringer type on vista 100 - Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition

The ringer is gone bad. Go to service center and just ask them to change the ringer. It will cost less than 100 rupees.
Make sure the phone profile is not in silent or in vibration only...

Follow the below instructions and you can remove the vibrate state. I have included a link to download the phone's manual as a PDF file.

Vibrating Ringer alerts you to calls or messages without
disturbing others.
Selecting Ringer Types for Voice Calls
Your phone provides a variety of ringer options that allow you
to customize your ring and volume settings. These options
allow you to identify incoming calls by the ring.
To select a ringer type for voice calls:
1. Select Menu > Settings > Sounds > Ringer Type >
Voice Calls.
2. Select With Caller ID or No Caller ID.

No way to change ringer type but you can press the arrow keys you use for volume while the phone is ringing and it will raise the volume. ldtsnj.com

flashing light means ur phone is turned on and working properly and go to ur profile menu then click for personalised then change for ringer type

on the side of the machine you have a ringer switch see if that works.

Your can change your ringer pitch and volume by doing the following.

Press SUPERKEY
Press NO until you see RINGER ADJUST? is on the display
Press YES and ADJUST PITCH? is on the display
Press YES, followed by the Volume up or Down to adjust

You can adjust the volume in the same menu

You have to use the feature 9 # from the administrators phone (usually extension 100)
Go to extension 100, press "feature,9,#" and you'll see the numbers on your display blinking like a digital alarm clock. Enter the time and then press feature to complete.
