I want to check the ink levels on my Epson Printer NX430

go to the windows search bar and Type "devices and printers" and press the Enter key. In the Devices and Printers window, search and find your Epson printer.
Right-click your Epson printer's name and click "Properties". Click "Printing Preferences" and then click the "Maintenance" tab.
Click the icon next to Epson Status Monitor. Your printer's ink levels graphic appears under the heading "Ink Levels." Click the "OK" button to close Epson Status Monitor.

I can't print as it says ink gone. How do I find

If your printer is connected to a computer, double click on the printer icon on your task tray, a window should open showing the ink cartridge status for each color.
If you don't see this, send a document to the printer, and when the printer dialog box opens click on properties or preferences button you should see a box with ink status.

I have just replaced the ink in my epson sx200 but the ink light is still flashing and it won't print - any ideas. Thanks

Try opening the printer properties then selecting Printing Preferences -> Maintenance -> Epson Status Monitor.
This will give you an indication of whether the cartridges have been recognised.
Some of the older T071x cartridges are not compatible - you must get ones specific to to SX200.

Ink

there is a possibility that the printhead is already defective. try to get the status of your printer through its status monitor in the computer. you can get it by going to control panel, printers and faxes(or printers for older version of windows) then right click your printer driver and choose properties. from the properties window, choose printing preferences then maintenance tab and check printer status.

Won't print

Hi,
you should have a toolkit if the printer software is installed.
this should allow you to view printer preferences et,c.
Ink Levels. page sizes prefs. and general print options.
Try Start/Printer Or go into Control Panel/Printers Right click on your printer and select Properties.
Theres also a way, to lift the lid. press the Ink Button. And the cartridge should Move to the desired Low Cartridge Arrow.
Alternative is to print a test page, to see which colour is Missing.

Try cleaning your ink nozzles or ink jets. It sounds like you have a plugged nozzle or two. Your printer program should have maintenance options that allow you to test for plugged nozzles and clean them.

In control panel, open the printing/fax icon, right click on your printers icon, left click properties, then on the bottom of the page the panel that opens you will see a button that says printing preferences, and that should open your print program.

This will work for all printers, not just hp.

This will work for all printers, not just hp.
