When you use the microwave does it make abnormal sounds or noises? If so it could be the magnetron going out.Or power setting could have gotten set to its lowest setting

Consensus opinion seems to be a bad magnetron tube. Unless this an expensive model, it might be better to just replace the whole machine. It takes expensive test equipment to service one of these machines and repair costs support this.
The unit is failing. Probably the megatron tube. IT can pass quickly or slowly. I had a Sharp that lasted about a month before conking out on me at a most in opportune time: Dinner for 8 and it was late! Take caution. Start shopping.
I have the same problem. Everything seems to work except it doesn't heat up food.
I remember last time when it was working. I pressed the start botton before I closed the door. So it didn't start automatically, and I pushed start and it worked(it still heat up the food), but it doesn't work now. Help Please!!!
I have a Whirlpool Gold GH5184XPQ.
Typically, no heating of food, indicates a bad Magnetron (tube) or associated components. Yes, it can be repaired. Magnetrons are not hard to replace and can be ordered online through MCM electronics. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.
