Hi I am Kelly and welcome to FixYa. I am having difficulty crossing your model number. Do you know what year you purchased the mower?

I have found a close match at this site using model year 1995

http://www.jackssmallengines.com/help.cfm

You need to choose these drop down window options in the order listed on the site:

"Search for Model"

MTD
MTD GOLD
13-Lawn Tractors
1995 Models (There are 3 of them... so I would bet you will have to find the closest match to your model)

After all of the above FINALLY the model diagrams will come up.

There is another drop down menu just above the Zoom + or - buttons for the sub assemblies.

I am thinking this is what you were looking for but... if not please check your model number again and I will continue to assist you.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Kelly

If you don't have your manual, MTD has manual downloads on their web page.
Are you removing or replacing the belt and need to remove tension

Is there a owners manual for a mtd rh 125/92

MTD makes nearly every mower on the market today and they are very basic machines. Although I do not have an owner's manual for you, I suggest you state your query as to what the problem is and we'll get you fixed up. I have been rebuilding mowers daily, and have found that they're pretty much all the same, these days. I'd be happy to help you if you tell me the problem with your mower.

Mower will not go into cut mode

Most new mowers or later model year mowers have several safty switches in place, the transmission must be in a forward gear, someone must be sitting in the seat, and the deck must be in the down position. In most cases all the switches are wired in series with each other for troubleshoting purposes you can run a jumper wire from battery positive power to the electric engagement clutch and see if it activates if it does not hen the clutch is most likely bad, if it does work then it is time to start jumping out each individual switch one at a time until you find the one that is not making contact and replacing that switch or repair it. Hope this helps, Don

Woods 6170 zero turn mower. The mower blades stop after several minutes. I suspect a bad electric clutch. How do I verify that it is the clutch.

You can check the air gap through the three holes on the sides with a 10 thou feeler guage, You adjust with the three nuts by tightening them down

Mtd 17.5 will not start

Riding mower have three safety switches. One under the seat, one under the clutch and one on the blade lever. Make sure all are making contact as the button tip can get worn after many uses. These can be replaced. One trick you can try before that..
Sit on the mower and pull the blade engagement lever back further than necessary and hold it in that position while trying to start it. This may work as it puts more pressure on the safety switch button and makes contact possible.

Yard machine riding mower will not start

check all of your known safety switches!
Clutch has to be pushed in
seat switch (sit on mower)
blade disengage switch
Finally check your starter soleniod between the battery and the starter and look for fuses and check them out in the process
