Irgendwas klickt in meinem Bosch GIL 1240, als wenn der Gefrierschrank kühlen will. Der Gefrierschrank selbst gefriert kein Stück. Hat dieser Gefrierschrank einen Thermostaten den man überbrücken könnte, um zu schauen ob der Kompressor anläuft. Der Kompressor ist übrigens Handwarm, ich befürchte fast, der Motor ist hin. Er macht üble Geräusche, wenn man ihn etwas schüttelt.

Antes de gastar en partes nuevas, debes desarmar el aparato y inspeccionar. Le llega la corriente al motor? Funcionan los switches de limite (que detienen al motor en su punto), algun engrane, o fusible quemado?
See if you have a condenser fan near the compressor if you do it should run when the compressor runs. You may have a fan inside the freezer behind the rear wall if so it should run when the compressor runs also.
The frost on the coils could be a problem if it builds up and block the air flow between the fins.This would be a defrost problem.
more than likley its the thermostat stoped working,,its the part that tells the compresor to start up and cool things down, change the thermostat first
Use a turkey baster filled with very hot water and flush it several times. That should resolve the problem. Also check the door gasket, if it is leaking, excessive frost would be visible causing more water then the system was designed to handle. Good Luck, Gil
Short out the dark blue and the dark brown wires that lead into the temp control dial. Everything now works. This bipasses a dodgy thermister or something. Of course this might not solve all similar problems but it does seem a common fault.
