I need a filter and the magnetic power cord that goes to the ge PL1215 model 168997. I let the church use it for an activity and the entire filter and holder are missing and the power cord can i get one from some where

First question how old is the unit? You can find replacement cords for many counter top appliances at most appliance and building supply stores. Try Ace, Home Depot, Lowes. Take the cooker with you to make sure you are getting the corect cord.

On 11/17/07 I posted my problem with this fryer. I did not get a solution so today I called the customer service number 1-877-207-0923 and Virginia (customer service rep) suggested that I order a new cord ($5.95 plus shipping of $5.95). I should receive it in 7-10 days by UPS ground shipping. My model # is #168997 cord # PL1215. I hope this helps.
