I havee been trying to record services at church...and every time i hit record it says data disc....what am i doing wrong...please help me!!!!!

Manuals are always a good place to start.

You ARE using a data disc. It's literal. RTM and see that it only uses blank media that say "Digital Audio" on them.

It IS a data disc. Consumer CD Recorders require CD blank media with the words "Digial Audio" stamped on them. It's in the manual.

I have a sony compact disc recorder RCD-W500C/W100, the error message is C71/ Din Unlock. All my connections are Ok. Can you help? If yes then I will prepare to pay, if no then thank you.

Din Unlock means you have a bad DIgital INput. Look to the source or the cable carrying the signal.

usually to the TAPE out sockets[coax,optical,RCA,].Im assuming its not video capable.actually,any out sockets on the amp,and IN sockets on the recorder

It wants a CD-R Audio or CD-R Music blank disc to record on. It won't record on CD-R data discs.

You need to use CD-R Music or Audio blanks, not Data. It's part of the spec for home CD recorders to reject blank data disks.

You need to use an audio CDr, data or computer CDr's will not work in this machine.

Make sure you're using CD-R AUDIO or MUSIC blank discs. It won't record onto data discs.

Sony rcd-w500c i have had for years wotking fine untill couple month ago it will not record anymore everytime i put in a blank disc that i have used before say blank disc ,data other issues is this unit shot
