Its frozen up or low on gas....the defrost timer has failed or the defrost element has packed it in.the beeping is warning you of a temp failure.

I can't turn my Kenmore upright freezer on.

Try disconnecting power for about 30 seconds, and then restore power. This will reboot the control and maybe restart.

Beeping 3 times every few seconds

In the freeze cycle too long. Usually about an hour. Several conditions can cause this. look for stuck float or constant water running even when machine is off. start there first.

WHIRLPOOL UNDER WORKTOP FREEZER APPROX 11 YEARS OLD BEEPING

the temperature control is bad. when you push the fast freeze it bypasses the thermostat for 12-24 hours depending on which model you have. I am not able to find any parts information with the model number provided but you should be able to find a temperature control at any local appliance parts house or online thru any reputable supplier. Hoshizaki ice machine with constant beeping every 2 seconds

turn it off and on and check the drain line and see if its draining water. some times the check valve needs taken apart and cleaned. the problems corespond to water related problems. usually because its taking too long to freeze. good luck

Frigidaire FRF170FF Freezer beeping

This is probably the defrost cycle. The beeps are the high temp alarm. It is probably overly sensitive.

Hoshizaki ice machine with constant beeping every 3 seconds

Most likely(50% of the times) Your Ice machine need a real cleaning. not just run clean cycle with ice machine cleaner. every 6 month call HVAC-R guys - machine will last half time longer if u schedule proper maintenance with them. I have seen It all: people try to call "friend", or someone who "knows" how this machines work. Real clean would take up to 3 hours for people who know what they doing. Here is one of my videos, when 3 beeps - long freeze cycle is not common and all others would offer You to get a new Ice Machine. Bill to the owner was 950$, New Machine 3450$ plus labour to install 600$.

you said the coil was freezing up? have you checked your defrost element? if your handy with a voltmeter put it on the "beeping mode" (disconnect the fridge's power first) and test the element if it beeps its good, and means that the defrost control isn't working it could be a timer or a board, also check the freezer fan rotate the blades if it dosen't rotate the fan is stuck. if the fans turns out o.k, the defrost thermostat is defective (thats the little metal ball type control befor the heaters).

Freezer temp display beeping and going through different temps rapidly!

Seems that you may have a faulty temp control switch or it is stuck in position. Check this also make sure that the air vents are clear.
