Dryer has develped a loud rubbing noise whenever the dryer is being used. It is getting louder. The dryer still heats and the drum still moves. What could be the issue and is it something I could repair?

My Maytag Dryer LSE7804ACE makes an intermittent rolling noise. It sounds like it is coming from the left side of the housing - sounds like a bearing. Is this comething we can repair ourselves?
Hello friend, thanks for your inquiry!
From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer is making a loud noise as it continues to go through the cycles. It could be an issue within the drum not properly being balanced and the load is now rubbing against the wall of your dryer.
It is also possible that the belt is not securing the dryer and it is not properly spinning. I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional to come out and properly diagnose your appliance to avoidany unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
