if their segments are same as your old one. the wheel is correct. just need to make a small adjustment, it will be ok.

You need to provide brand and model number of your tv.

To answer your question: You have replaced the color wheel, but the light engine (jet) will probably need to be replaced also.
You will also have to have the color wheel and jet tuned (timed) back to factory specs by a TV Repairman as well. If timing and lighting are out of sync, the picture will be also.

Yes,tvs with a colors wheels design into it are more prone to brake down and more quickly than tvs without colors wheels design into it.The colors wheel in the tv spins at 12000 RPM at every cycles to make and let the tv Light Engine shine a beam of light into a colors wheel to make and have a colors spectrums to make it to works for the tv.No projection tv with a colors wheel are not easily to be replaced have go through alot of trouble to replace a colors wheel itself.The tv colors sit way back of the tv have to take out many tv mechanical tv frames bulk heads even than can come to the tv colors wheel itself to replace it.Take ur $500 buck buy a "40 LCD tv less worry less head aches.

For CRT projection TV's, this indicates that the Green picture tube is burned (warn out). The less green that strikes the screen, the more redish the image will look. You will need to find an old school TV repair shop that knows how to replace picture tubes.
In the case of a DLP style TV, the color wheel needs replacing.

There should be a jumper somewhere around the color wheel. I am having a problem with my color wheel, and after doing a lot of research I found that people that have the same problem as you changed the jumper setting. Try looking it up here on the net. Should solve your problem.

I just had a service tech out and replaced the color wheel. now i have the same issue with the color...the people all look blue. He told me that now the the digital board is bad. It's the board were all of the connections go. I'm not convinced, as I remember reading something about color settings needing to be adjusted after color wheel replacement.

can you replace the cable see if problem stay's or go's
if it comes back check for loose connection around that board.
