I have connected my Conia DVD Recorder to my LG Plasma TV with Component Leads and audio is connected to the Plasma AV ports and DVD Recorder AV ports using a composite lead (red and white).
When playing a DVD through the Conia DVD machine, the Plasma TV speakers have heavy background static and crackle.
I have also connected my XBOX through the AV2 input and played the same DVD with no static or crackle at all.
Are you able to tell why this static comes through when connecting the Conia DVD recorder to the Plasma TV?
SOURCE: no audio
I will try to explain this clearly.
Make sure that there is sound leaving from the connections on the top box.
Check that the audio cables are connected to the associated audio input for the video at the rear of the set. Make sure that there are no other shared inputs for the same input. With shared inputs, only one can be the default reference for input.
Check the menus in both the top box and the TV set to make sure that all setups are correctly done.
