I just took over an old building with three Tork Digital Timer Switched EW 120A-C. I have no idea how to reprogram these to get them to do what I want. If the overhead lights are on, no outlets work and vise versa. What can I do?

Here's a link to the Tork website. The model timer you have is a past model. The manuals are listed in the technical library.
The model you have is most likely either EW101A SERIES or EW101SA SERIES
See the library for details: http://tork.com/techlib.aspx

Tork RZ307 Automatic Lighting Timer . . .

Edited 'Trok' to 'Tork'.
Then with the right maker, we can find the Tork Timer Category.
Also added (what it is).

It is new, it is under warranty, take it back for free replacement. If you fiddle with it, you void that warranty/ The only thing you can try is cutting the power at the breaker for 5 minutes. If that doesn't work, disconnect it for 3 days as it has a 2 day backup. See if there is a battery compartment with a dead bulging capacitor in it.

Power Outage Backup:
Permanent schedule retention with memory module.
Supercapacitor provides 2 days of real time backup.

No display stop working. it controls a fan lite, the lite is on in a dimmed mode, no fan function.

Question posted under Tork SS720 timer.
I don't have repair for defective timer that worked before and stopped working.
If this is new timer, then add a comment and explain wiring in exact detail, and include what you mean by 'dimmed' mode.

Timers have 1 year limited warranty.
Timers are affected by line noise, and generally cannot be connected to a dimmer.

SS720A timer is robust 120Volt single-pole 7-day programmable timer, rated for 15Amp up to 1 HP.
The larger the amp load, the shorter the lifespan for electrical devices.

Last step troubleshoot for programmable timer is to reset timer and reprogram.
Reset timer by pushing in reset button for several seconds.
If functionality is not restored, then timer has gone bad.

Tork SS720 is identical to GE15071 timer sold at Home Depot.
Buy another timer, and return defect in new package.

Sunset sunrise doesn't seem to work anymore

Timer is not identified.
If digital timer does not function as before, try resetting timer and then re-program.
If timer has battery, then change battery and reset timer.
If reset does not restore functionality, then timer has gone bad. Most in-wall timers have 1 year limited warranty.

Below are common 7-day timers, but there are many different brands:

You posted under Woods 7-day timer: except Woods timer does not astronomic dawn dusk function. Woods 7-day is same as Tork 7-day and GE 7-day, and they do not have astronomic function.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Woods-59018-59028.pdf
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#59028
Reset button is small round button.
Push in reset with toothpick or paper clip.
Then reprogram timer.

If you have Intermatic ST01C or EJ500 battery operated timer: Replace battery, then to reset timer: push-and-hold ON_OFF button, and then push reset button. Keep holding on-off button until display changes. Release on-off button and display will flash 12:00. Then reprogram timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-timers-and-manuals.html

If you have Utilitec astronomic timer, then press reset button and reprogram:

I am replacing an old Tork mechanical Light contoller with a new Tork digital light controller. The unit will control an outside pole light but on the same circuit I have manually switch contolled lights on...

Tork timers are each a bit different depending on voltage and model number.

Each timer has a model number on inside of timer door.

1) Add a comment with model numbers for each timer, and voltage you are working with, and I will post the conversion wiring.

2) Also look up your model number and wiring diagram on following link.
