My element is not working. Its makes a skreeching sound and there is that parralel lines of color that is on the screen. Not the rainbow color but mostly orange and black lines

I would say that the screen is causing the lines in a gameboy colour the lines are not the same like it would be in an orginal gameboy the one with the four batteries. Lines in gameboy color are the screen issues then the whole screen would have to be replaced on the GBC then.

I just had a rainbow of colors on my tv screen...i thought it was a problem with my TV...however the screen went the "sign off" screen (verticle lines-red/blue/green) Then all of a sudden the picture came back and all was back to normal again.

So I say it's nto your TV it is a station problem!

Something kind of like that happened to my camera, I just had to send it back, and they said that the LCD screen was cracked. :]

This is a result of Sony CCD recall issue - working with Sony for repair.

The description of the problem points to the picture tube being bad because of the rainbow colors,as far as the white lines you might have an open resistor in the crt board,a qualified technician should take care of the problem if the set is repairable and He will know as soon as he sees it.Good luck.
