Have this toilet approx. 3-4 yrs.old. Can I buy just a simple part to fix, or do I, need to buy a whole new tank fixture for inside tank? Nettie - [email protected]

I am not familiar with the model of toilet that you have, but many toilets suffer the same problem. It is usually due to the toilet cistern over-filling, as the water running into the bowl is the safety-overflow mechanism. The overfilling can be for a few reasons. The most common is that the fill valve is being held open, either due to mal-adjustment, or due to it being postioned slightly wrongly so that it hits either the side of the cistern or another part of the mechanism and can't close off properly. If you lift off the top of the cistern and watch what happens when the flush goes, you might be able to spot what is preventing the valve from shutting off entirely, and solve it. Hope this helps! :)

How to fix toilet bowl stains

Force the brush tip back and forth, especially along the toilet jets (holes under rim), around the water line and on visible stains. Scrub until stains are gone, reapplying cleaner as necessary, then flush twice. To make your toilet bowl clean again, start with a dry bowl so water won't dilute the cleaner.

The bowl stains very easily.is it a inferior grade of glaze on it.

It could be , but I would check the water first. Is it a brownish color. This is an indication there is too much copper in the water. Can you clean it off . Also if the water is hard, this will cause it too.

Jacuzzi toilet does not fill enough water in the bowl

Check to see if there is not a clog in the trap. This could keep your bowl from filling up. Also check the flapper and see if it is staying afloat in the tank long enough during the flush. Either of these could be the cause here.

We just brought a Jacuzzi toilets and find that there are not much water in the bowl (3 inch deep). Can it be adjusted to have more water in the bowl ?

You cannot adjust the standing water level in any toilet bowl..That level is designed in. To verify what has been designed into the bowl just add water. Take a large pot full of water and just dump it dierctly into the bowl. Whatever level you end up with is by design.

Please tell me how to get more water in my toilet bowl..not the tank..the bowl please..thankyou. It is a Jacuzzi Era Elongated bowl.

The water level in the bowl is determined by the built in trap in the back of the bowl. Water is allowed to enter the toilet and it then "over flows" the p trap in the back when flushed. Once it's flowing, it syphons the water out of the bowl. While the tank is re-filling, a small portion of water should be running down the overflow from the small hose clamped onto the overflow This rinses the inside of the bowl, as well as helps-refill the bowl. Be sure that hose is directed inside the overflow tube. To see what the max water level in the bowl can be, add some water from a cup or glass. Once it's full you can keep adding and it won't get any higher. This will be the max level you can expect.

The water level in the toilet bowl is too low. Can I adjust the level, and if so, how?

Too little water in the toilet bowl to start with may be due to a lost or mis-connected fill tube that directs some water into the toilet tank standpipe (and thus into the bowl below), while the toilet tank is being re-filled. Check for that little tube.

Jacuzzi Era elongated seat attachment

first need to buy the longer oval seat so it sits correctly at the front most mounting screws are universal-- go buy thin rubber washers and trim and place between the hinge and bowl than tighten down this will stop slippage but the front if not correctly sitting on the bowl will still cause problems

Water level drops in bowl after it fills

If very little water is used on initial flush, The bowl is functioning as a tank for second thorough flush. The high water level cannot stay high in the bowl while in motion or you would have a mess ion start and stops.
