About my ps2.plz help!!!!!!!!!

playstation 2 does not like guitar hero. 

if it's a fat PS2 and
model SCPH 30001, SCPH 35001
(not including the models with an 'R' after the model #.

these models need the following to play DVDs:
- PS2 DVD remote with IR unit
- PS2 DVD disc player (sold with DVD remote w/ IR unit)
- PS2 memory card

you copied the DVD disc to the memory card. you used the memory card to play DVDs.

later models didn't need the memory card to play DVDs.

You need to buy those games which says PAL on it...Usually they have those PAL indications on the top right corner of the CASE of the DVD...of course you won't be able to play those NTSC games...it's just a compatibility issue, i think...cause your PS2 is a PAL model...

Playstation Magazine usually has info, call centers and console doctors in it, you talk to them you can send it off for repairs, ive had to do it once coz my sis snapped my cd drive

mine does that but the other way round, the cause of that would be either the ps2 is dusty and needs cleaning or you have watched too many copy dvd's which can cause problems, my suggestion is find a repair shop and they will find the source of the problem in no time hope i was helpful

• If you are using copy / pirate disks, the Ps2 Will not pick this up unless it is "chipped," which is very risky both in a way to harm the console and in a way to get you arrested as it is illegal.
• If you've had the console a long time and not a problem like this before - The laser has probably burned out. No point in buying a new laser because you would be cheaper buying a new Ps2 Console

Ur PS2 optical getting weaker and it needs service.Contact any expert for its service,And dont try to do it personally if u dont know about it.

your lens are dirty you have to clean it with cotton budds with oil

ps2 discs are region locked ps3 games are not so are some dvds the are region locked if you seriously want to play the ps2 games buy them from japan
