I cant log in the playstation netwok so i can play online. I have recently changed providers and it was still working for a few days and then it wouldnt let me sign into the playstation network, it tells me to check my contection however when i do a system check, all is good except for the playstation network conection

There is a problem with the EA servers. You will have to wait a few days before you are able to play EA games online.

Since the PSN debacle, I think a software update is required. So, I'd update your firmware to latest, first. (unless you like to hack your system)

Second, I'd change your password online at playstation.com BEFORE logging trying your PS3. It seemed to work out for me :).

its not sony fault ,i just found out today it ur service if u have a DLS ur going to keep being signed out till it finaly sign u out for good, just call ur service and change ur internet service or upgrade it ,ok dont wrry lol

It usually means your internet is to slow if you have satillite internet then it wont work.

Lately there are a few issues with yahoo messenger, as many of myfriends are having trouble logging in as well. its happened to me too.Some days it works and sometimes it does not. You could try changing yourconnection settings as I have found that works and then i change it backafter a few hours of being online. just go to messenger link thenpreferences, then connection.

Here are few things that you can try:

1. update the firmware on the router/modem

2. Open ports on the router/modem for P2P

Go to portforward.com, find your router in the product list and follow the instructions. Works for me everytime.

first ..you do have your own rooter dont you?

the way you explain this problem sounds like you just logged onto which ever connection you found! did you or afamily member set up a commection using belkin54g?

in order to connect to the net with any device...PC (if you dont have a pc how did you send this post?)...Wii PS3 first you need to install and connect to your own internet connection device i.e.ASDL Broadband rooter..call it what you want

lol it sounds like you've been useing your next door neighbour's unsecured internet connection...nice cheap way to get connected.....but a bit of a bummer when text door go on holiday
i suggest setting up your own rooter (withyour own password)

I guessing you live close to a neighbor that has an unsecured wireless network. It is possible that they changed their security settings to block out other IP addresses (meaning your PS3). The best solution would be to establish your own internet connection and/or wireless network thru a local broadband internet provider.
