Connect a male to male phono lead to the amp input. Turn it on and place a moist finger on centre pin of each channel. If the amp is working you will get a hum from the speakers. Make sure the volume control is not set too high!

I don't have the specific schematic for this product, so I'm writing a generic troubleshooting guide. Your actual configuration may vary from what I assumed.

Check the front speaker amplifiers. One or both of them may be shorted (will blow a fuse or a speaker protection circuit will keep the speaker relay off). If the amplifiers have individual transistors at the output, check for a collector-emitter short or source-drain short on each one. If they are integrated power amplifier modules, check for shorts between the output and both of the power supply terminals on the module. Use an ohmmeter with the unit unplugged for this test.

If the amplifiers pass (i. e., do not read a near-zero resistance on any device) and no fuses in the amplifier circuit are blown, and you are sure the unit controls are set up properly, the next step is a live test to verify the front speaker relay is turned on and the sound source controller is feeding signal to the front amplifiers. You'll need an oscilloscope to do the last test.

How can you test a model 15762536 cy-bg8013zc amp. there is no sound in car stereo

What i would do is remove the amp and do a bench test. connecting it to a car stereo outside of the car This way you know it works or not without second guessing the wiring. I leave a Car battery on my bench for this.

Display shows overload and receiver shuts down

This means that one (or maybe more) of the amplifiers is shorted. Remove all speakers cables and try again. If you get the same message that means that one (or more) amplifiers is fried. To find which and why you will have to open the unit and test the amplifiers.

Unless you have experience working on tube amplifiers and all the necessary test equipment you should spend the money and have this done by a qualified electronics technician who has experience particularly servicing tube amplifiers.

I have Harmon Kardon AVR 25 ii receivers and I have attached it to Bose 701 front speakers and three other Bose surround speakers and an subwoofer. All the speakers work except for right speaker, I need...

To locate the problem...a) Cable
Test if right cable is ok, by interchanging the rt/left cables.

b) Test Bose right speaker
Connect the Bose right speaker to HK's left channel. Works? Then Bose right speaker is ok.

c) Test HK's right output by connecting the left Bose speaker to HK's right output.
Does not work?

Are you sure that you hooked up the correct wire? You can try testing with a 12V test light, test with radio on then off, test to see if the wire has 12v when either source is turned on too. Other than that I will have to do a little bit of digging and see what I can come up with. I'll let you know what I find.
