Dampness or moisture that gets into the membrane will cause this as well as it just wearing out over time, and the best fix is to replace the pad since the ability to work properly will be temporary at best.

NN 8501V Panasonic Dimension 4 Convection/Microwave oven keeps blowing fuse

If it went dead almost immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted high-voltage capacitor.

If it went dead several seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.

If it goes dead or blows the breaker (or GFI) when you plug it in or open or close the door, then there's a problem with a door switch or door switch mount.

If it's intermittent or random, it may be a bad connection, usually on the control board or a loose fuse holder, or even an intermittent fuse.

Several buttons on key pad of microwave are not working

Steam got into key pay. Sometimes it will dry out. Take key pad apart and try to dry with a hair dryer, not to hot, you just want to blow condensation out of it. If this does not work, key pad needs to be replaced. The problem is they cost as much as a new microwave.

Hello, my GE Microwave has an intermittent issue where it just locks up the key pad and stops functioning after a few seconds of starting a cycle.

The brains of these things are the complex the keypad brains and all that are usually on one unit. Call up and appliance parts store and describe to them what it is usually they'd know right away and will order the parts for you. Of course you have to wait whether it is worth the price of the parts and drama vs. getting a brand new machine.

Kenmore oven-microwave 911 41479791 I get E 01 error.

F 11 code. it is a touch pad error.
If you just cleaned the control panel it may have water in the panel causing a key to stick.
If after a day or 2 it hasn't dried out - then you will need to replace the touch pad.

Visit www.searspartsdirect.com and enter in your full model number for a parts breakdown and schematics.

Ge microwave works intermittent, when not working display reads F-3 and key pad does not respond

This code will occur if a shorted key panel is detected continuously over 60 seconds. Replace key panel (also called touch pad).

Night Light

Your Control Key Pad is a circuit with each function and button a switch. The pad on your TV Remote, and Telephone is no different. The Key Pad is failing, It will only get worse. Determine if you can replace the Touch (Key) Pad. Not the Control Circuit, just the Touch Pad. Sometimes you can get it seperate. It connects by a Flex Cable to the Control Circuit.
