replace the main pcb also called the digital pcb.you also could have a defective address or
buffer pcb that feeds the top of the screen if the top is black.if screen is not black.replace the main digital pcb.where all video is done in
the tv.
Actually most programs are going hd which means they will be wide screen. which sometimes the tv may have an option under the menu where you can change the resolution of the screen. hope this helps
Blue STK392-040 Convergence IC bad = replace both with
first quality parts = NO generics,they don't hold up. I USE
PANASONIC with great success................T.
replace all the capacitors on the board. The ones that were originally place on the board are defective. I would replace them with the next larger voltage rated capacitor.
