The webam's software and driver that is compatible with Windows Vista can be downloaded on this link. For the wfebcam's driver look for CAMERA and you'll see underneath the driver for Windows Vista. And for the software, look for SOFTWARE then select Easy Capture.

Here's how:

1. First, click on the driver's name (Lenovo Easy Camera Driver).
2. You'll be routed on another page. Just click on Download.
3. Once it's downloaded to your laptop, double click on the icon to install it.
4. Finally, you'll be asked to Reboot/Restart your PC.

The same process goes with the installation process for your Easy Capture installation.

It means that you still have to download the drivers for that laptop to work with Windows 7.
Windows seven has bunch of default drivers for most of the devices available on the market but not all of them, specially the proprietary laptop buttons.
I checked for driver for windows seven but I can't find any
-the best thing is try using the vista drivers
-most vista drivers will work with windows seven
-if it does not work, use the compatibility mode

This is just a software issue. There might be uncompatible software installed in your computer or malware. 1st thing try to disable your computer's start up (remove all the driver software you installed for new devices) then restart your computer.
2. Connect 1 device then install the driver.
** if still not working need to perform windows system restore. You can choose the desired restore point or the last time you were able to use your computer normally.

**If still not working, you need to perform Factory recovery or set everything back to factory default. or use the recovery disk.

Note: before doing any Troubleshooting in your make sure that you have back up for your important files or image for the programs that you have.

if you go to the olympus website www.olympus.com in the download section you are able to download the software.
but if you have a multi-card reader for your laptop just use that they are a lot quicker to use

You need a compatibility patch for your camera to work on Vista. Get it Here:

Try installing the software if it does not install then you need to contact fuji support and ask them if they have a software version that is supported on Vista

You will need to contact Hitachi to fix this one. The camcorder driver will probably work in Windows XP but not in Vista.

I would suggest you look in to Apple's Bootcamp. Although you do not want to run in a dual-boot configuration, Bootcamp allows you to create a CD with all of the Mac's windows drivers.

I appologize but I am not totally sure if 1) the Bootcamp drivers contain a camera driver and 2) if the camera works at all within Parallels.

Worth a shot though.
