It can but you are not going to do it off a single deep cycle battery, You will need to have some robust batteries to sustain it. But that will almost need to be the only thing on that inverter.

It might be better to spend a little more and get the Air conditioner that can operate on 12 volts or 120 with the flip of a switch.

Look at the data panel for the 15,000 BTU AC. It's current rating should be right around 12 Amps at 120VAC. Which is 1440 Watts. Startup is when there could be a problem. Especially when the compressor approaches a near lockup condition. Current draw can be double that of normal operation Even though it is within the surge rating of the inverter- the batteries have to be at their peak at all times.

Depending on the model of the microwave it could draw more wattage than what is put out by the inverter. Don't forget there is a inital spike when your unit first starts and that although an inverter might be listed at 1500 wat that is the maximum and will depend on how much power the inverter is getting in, so if the engine is not putting out enough power the inverter will not put out a full 1500.

. Is there is any light in the screen. If not, then Backlight inverter is faulty. All lcd tv have backlight to light the pixels. If you watch the screen very near then you will be able to see image on the screen. First of all check is there is any budged capacitors in the power supply. If there then replace it will solve the problem. If no then check the inverter board. Do on thing check the fuse in the inverter board. If the fuse is faulty then replace it. If the fuse blews again then the inverter board is short you have to replace invereter baord. It is not possible to repair the backlight inverter. A 5000 wat inverter is very large. Your alternator could not supply it alone without the batteries. The moderate to low usage is the key. Calculate the wattage of the load you want to connect. Depending on what else you're doing with the truck, lights, heater, air condition etc, you could probably draw somewhere between 1,0000-1500 watts on that alternator. Rember even if your alternator is rated for 150amps (large alt) it is not a 100% duty cycle. Alternators are usually around 50% duty cycle, so figure about 75amps continuous, or around 900 watts. That's considerably less than your 5,000 watt inverter. Buy a generator.

Probably the inverter board of your monitor has been exhausted. The inverter is the part that enables the monitor to glow, making a little fluorescent gas lamp insithe the LCD bright strong enough to illuminate all the panel. When this circuit has some disfunction the lamp could oscilate, ficker and finally die making the panel dark and you couldn read what's on the screen.

The inverter has a lifetime, and the lamp too, check the lamp lifetime of your monitor and the inverter too.

could you see anything on the screen ??? if so but no light on screen then it can be inverter, in can be voltage or motherboard problem.Best is to have somebody qualify to fix for you.
