My cyberhome Modle ch ldv 7008. I have had this unit put away for almost two years do to the fact i lost the charger. I found a charger but before i buy it could the battery also be no good. I have used this unit for about 8 hours total. Its just been sitting around. Thank you Russell Kreis

If it has been sitting in a cupboard not used for that long there is a very good chance the batteries are no good. Try putting it on charge for a few hours but if it still doesn't work then it will probibly need new batteries. Is it the correct charger for the unit as the voltage may be incorrect also if it is then that will also be a problem.
