Red line in top corner of screen

I have a small 2-5 inch red line comin down from the top left corner of my screen it just appeared 2 days ago, the line gets bigger and smaller but never goes away can you figure out where this came from and what I can do.

Sounds like an IC on the LCD panel went out of TV. Only thing to do is replace panel (it won't go away only get worse) It will probable be cheaper to just get another tv.

It is what we call a "Shatted Pixel" and you can fix it by flashing your screen

Vertical line on side of LCD TV

Modern televisions have screens divided into sections. Each section controls all the rows in its area, and it is controlled by its own video separate video driver. If you are missing a line in a section, then a problem has occurred with the driver board in that area. It will be pretty expensive to fix, I hope your warranty has not just expired!

hold down hash key for 3 seconds and it will go away
it is something to do with which line you are using,

it can be a picture tube problem. moreover, check if your tv is dusty inside it . clear it with blower and try again.

Looks like a crack in the display

such issues have occured in the Past, Please Check if the Crack appears in the BIOS mode.Safemode also Try another Monitor to find out if it is not the wall paper because if it is then the Crack will appear in the other Displa too...

Uh-Oh.. Sounds like the BGA RAM in the video circuit. (These units are Intel based and Core 2 duo if posted correct).. We can repair if you need help and its under warranty and sorry its not a home remedy situation..
